Accepted Answer

Freshness is evaluated using the facility time zone and a seven-day window. Capacity headroom is the configured facility power limit minus the latest valid average-demand interval derived from cumulative meter readings. Headroom is unavailable when the meter history is invalid, decreasing, missing, or insufficient; decreasing cumulative intervals are treated as possible meter resets and excluded.

What does the rolling 24-hour forecast show?

Accepted Answer

The forecast projects recent dated cumulative-meter usage into a rolling 24-hour window. It needs at least four saved readings that form three valid intervals in recent history, and it reports projected energy and average demand. Because date-only readings do not contain time-of-day detail, this is not an hourly load curve or a peak-demand forecast. Stale or insufficient history leaves the forecast unavailable.

What inputs are required for a tariff-aware load-shift estimate?

The estimate uses a recent forecast, a registered controllable load, its permitted operating window, time-of-use rate bands, a valid currency, a demand-charge input, and a facility power limit. It displays input-based estimates for energy savings, demand-charge savings, bill impact, and average capacity relief. Capacity relief is capped by saved average headroom. No result is shown when required inputs are missing or there is no valid rate differential between a higher-cost source period and a lower-cost permitted destination period.

What do the downloadable reports contain?

Authenticated operators can download a facility energy PDF and a rolling 24-hour forecast PDF for the selected facility. The reports are generated from that facility’s saved meter readings and configured operating inputs. If a calculation is unavailable, the report states that it is unavailable rather than producing an invented value.

Why might a calculation be marked unavailable?

Accepted Answer

Thrumwatt keeps unavailable states visible when the required evidence is not present. Examples include missing or stale meter history, invalid or decreasing cumulative readings, too few valid intervals, an invalid facility power limit, a missing demand-charge input or currency, no registered controllable load, or no valid time-of-use rate differential. No value is presented as a guaranteed capacity result when its inputs do not support it.
